Barbara Masters has a BA in Theatre from UCLA and a MFA from California State University, Los Angeles. She taught Theatre to adults and adolescents for 36 years. As a theater professional she provides acting lessons to members of the LA Opera and is a commercial coach. As a director in the Los Angeles theatre community she has worked with the Colony Studio Theatre, Women in Theatre, Bilingual Foundation for the Arts, and the National Repertory Theatre directing more than 50 productions. Now retired from teaching, she is a consultant for Los Angeles Unified School District, and Los Angeles County Center Theatre Group. Barbara and her husband, Ron, live six months a year in Taos and the remainder of the year with their five successful children and two and one-half grandchildren.
